St Peter's congregation are committed to supporting the wider work of Christ's church, both in the local area and further afield

• Members are active in the Park Patrol, distributing warm clothing to Sydney's homeless people
• We have an ongoing collection of food items from the congregation, which are sent to the Presbyterian Social Services and the Rev Bill Crews's Exodus Foundation for distribution to the needy
• For some years we have made an annual donation to the St Vincent de Paul Society, because we feel they are filling a hands-on role in the local area that we are not equipped to carry out ourselves
• Our Christmas Day offering goes to TEAR (The Evangelical Alliance Relief Fund) for charitable work in a number of overseas countries
• Our Anniversary offering this year will go to support mission work in indigenous communities in western NSW
• We help support three missionary couples in the field:
  • Stephanie Browning (previously Hall), who was a member of our Wednesday lunchtime congregation, and is now an SIM missionary at Bahirdar in Ethiopia, and her husband, Dr Andrew Browning.
